Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT/S)

Our mold and sewage backflow remediation technician class includes a hands-on section and the exam for IICRC certification. The course provides the necessary training to conduct or evaluate remediation projects. Course prerequisite is the attendance of a water damage restoration technician (WRT) class. This AMRT class also qualifies for IICRC continuous education credits (CEC).

Prerequisites: IICRC's water damage restoration technician (WRT) class with exam prior to attending the AMRT course.

Moisture Mapping Workshop

What you always wanted to know about your meters and instruments

This comprehensive moisture testing workshop takes you from beginning levels through advanced skills. Most technicians are familiar with the basic use of moisture meters. However, many are not aware of the underlying physical principals, their limitations, the do’s and don’ts, and when not to believe your measurement results. We will address the physical principles, techniques, methods, applications and limitations of the different tools and instruments. Industry standards and their important documentation requirements will be reviewed.

The workshop has a hands-on section with different mock-ups to familiarize each student with the tools. Class size is limited to allow students to practice using different equipment.

Mold Prevention in the Construction Industry

This 4-hour seminar is designed for the building, construction and maintenance industry. It will enable construction supervisors and customer service personnel to identify and prevent mold problems, especially as they relate to the construction industry. The course provides the components for a proactive mold awareness and management program. Case histories with solutions and hands-on sessions with moisture meters are part of the curriculum.

OSHA Health & Safety


This 2-day course provides the necessary OSHA health and safety training for the construction industry. OSHA Construction Industry Regulations apply to all microbial remediation projects and are often overlooked by contractors.
Completion of the health and safety course is a requirement for the AMRT/S certification through the IICRC.

You will receive your OSHA 10-hour Health and Safety Card upon completion of the course.

Chemical Air & Dust Sampling

AmIAQCouncil Approved Course: 7 Re-certification Credits.

The workshop is designed to provide an overview of the available air sampling methods for Indoor Air Quality parameter such as volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen sulfide, combustion gases, dust, etc. It will include collection techniques for dust sampling and data interpretation for phthalates, pesticides, allergens and so on. Actual sampling equipment and media, calibration equipment and methods will be presented.
